The AC decelerating motor with superior quality has a service life of several decades or even more without accident. In order to accurately test the energy-saving effect of high-efficiency motor and traditional reduction motor, some mechanisms have done experiments. The efficiency of y160m1-2 motor is 82.24%, while ye3-160m1-2 motor is 86.42% and the efficiency is increased by 4.18% when the traditional low efficiency AC reduction motor is operating at 50% load rate; when the low efficiency AC reduction motor is operating at 75% load rate, the efficiency of y160m1-2 motor is 85.59%, ye3-160m1-2 motor is 89.16% and the efficiency is increased by 3.57%. From the field test results, the energy-saving effect is obvious. Therefore, it is necessary to replace the low efficiency AC motor with the high efficiency motor.
